Designing and implementing a new cloud telephony platform for a local authority.
Background
The joint telephone system needed to be upgraded and was failing. The local authority had a cloud-first approach and ever-decreasing budgets meant there was a 3-month turnaround to procure, migrate 1000 telephone numbers and implement, roll out and train staff on a new telephony platform. Building IVRs, Call routing, call groups and managing switchover without downtime.
The solution was to implement a true cloud telephony system RingCentral.
Reduced overall costs by 50,000 over 3 year period and improved call quality,
